Consultation has concluded

The Community Engagement Committee was recently established as a standing committee of Council (it had previously been an ad hoc committee). Council approved Bylaw 1103-21, which established the committee on a permanent basis.

The Committee's mandate, as outlined in the bylaw, is to:

(a) Evaluate the level, method and circumstances under which citizens should be involved in the municipal decision-making process

(b) Enhance the transparency of municipal decision making

(c) Grow public engagement in municipal matters

(d) Engage issues as requested by Council from time to time

The Community Engagement Committee will review the feedback provided via the tools below (Ideas, Survey and Quick Poll), and will seek to improve engagement processes accordingly.
