Council would like to thank everyone for their participation in this engagement. We value your input and hope you will take the time to participate again in future discussions.

In recent months, Town Council has considered arguments for and against amending the Town’s Land Use Bylaw to permit full-service restaurants - but ONLY full-service restaurants - to apply for “Class A - Minors Allowed” liquor licenses (liquor licenses for establishments where "food is the primary source of business").

Now, Council would like to hear from you.

To play a constructive role in the decision-making process, please make sure to:

1. Carefully review, consider, and digest all of the information surrounding this issue provided under the "Information" tab below.

2. Read the frequently asked questions section ("FAQs") on the right-hand side of your screen.

3. Submit any comments, questions, or concerns that you might have regarding this issue by clicking on the "Share Your Thoughts" tab below.

4. Attend (or tune in to watch via YouTube) two (2) public engagement events at which Council will address your shared thoughts on the evenings of March 9 and March 23, respectively.

5. Return to this page on March 24 to take a community input survey that will remain available for two weeks until April 7.

To conduct an accurate survey (with a 95% confidence level), the Town will need at least 337 responses. Accordingly, please encourage everyone in your circle who is

a) a resident of the Town; and

b) of voting age (18+)

to participate in this process and take the survey, as well. Once the survey closes, the results will be presented to Council at the April 12 Council Meeting.
